Born of Earth and Iron
I come from a small, vibrant village nestled in the Sierra Madre mountains. A place where the earth is red, the sky is an endless blue, and the women are the pillars of the community.
Growing up, I watched my mother and grandmother weave stories into textiles, preserving traditions that were centuries old. They taught me resilience—how to stand tall like the mountains, even when the winds of change blew hard. But within me, a fire was burning. I loved my roots, but I knew my branches were meant to reach further.
The Awakening
Rebellion didn't come as a shout, but as a whisper. The expectation was to stay, to marry, to continue the cycle. But I chose to pack my bags.
Leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done. I carried nothing but my dreams and the fierce determination of my name—Fierro, iron. The city was loud, chaotic, and indifferent. I faced rejection, loneliness, and the fear that I had made a mistake. But every "no" became fuel for my fire. I taught myself to paint, to design, to speak up. I realized that my voice wasn't just for me; it was for every woman who had been told to stay small.
The Mission
Now, as the ambassador for Akitai, I bridge the wisdom of the past with the possibilities of the future.
